 Spring Spirit Week @ CHE
Student leadership voted to hold a Spring Spirit Week. The dress up dates they've selected include:

Monday, 3/19: Dress-Up Like Your Favorite Teacher/Staff Member Day

Tuesday, 3/20: Dress-Up Like Your Parent Day

Wednesday, 3/21: Twin Day--Pair up with a friend and come dressed as twins

Thursday, 3/22: Imagination Day--Students use their imagination in a mash-up of wacky and crazy dress up. Teachers can also celebrate imagination by encouraging innovation/making in the class that day.

Friday, 3/23: Dress-Up like Your Favorite Book or Movie Character Day (class reads favorite book or watches favorite movie). 

 Report Card Conferences

Report card conferences are coming up this week, 3/14-3/16. Remember, those days are minimum days with dismissal at 11:50 (grades 1-5) and 11:40 (ALL K and TK). Lunch service is available during the day. Please note that STUDENTS DON'T have to eat as the break times are very early in the day but they can eat if they wish. A snack may be more appropriate.

3/23: Honor Roll Assembly, grades 4/5 @ 8:45
3/26-4/2: Spring Break, school resumes April 3rd
4/11: Picture Day
4/12: Spring BOGO Book Fair 2:45
4/27: Mother/Son Hike, No School

Welcome to another week at Cordelia Hills! We look forward to our final ramp up to Wednesday's Fun Run. Check out the blog below for information on the Fun Run, the week, and report card conferences.  Top Highlights •  Coyote Color Run takes place this Wednesday, November 8th. The run  schedule is set with: TK-K @ 10:00 4-5 @ 11 1-3 @ 12:30 The run will take place on the Upper Field.  Funrun.com  is open and is accepting online pledges for support of STEAM funding at Cordelia Hills. These last few days are huge for the effort. Thanks in advance. Remember to have your child wear running clothes. Be an Internet Safety Champion Our students have a terrific amount of access to information and infinite methods for communication via the information. With that access comes a need for education and accountability. Many educators struggle to keep up with all that comes with greater access. We reach out to you to partner with us to held build strong internet capable students. Please monitor use by your student. We encourage regular conversations about internet safety. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Thank you to the many volunteers who helped in making The Coyote Howl a success. Seeing smiling faces and kids enjoying the evening is always the best and your hard work, determination, time, and donations made it happen Friday night! Go Coyotes! Parent Requests Many of you have asked if you can request a teacher for your child. The short answer is no. We work hard as a staff to ensure our classes are balanced in academics, behaviors, gender, diversity and size. Thank you for trusting us with your child. MAP Testing District benchmark MAP testing has begun in grades 1-5. The end of year assessments take place in both ELA and math and will be reported on the end of year report card. Thank you for your support in making sure your child is at school everyday!
