If you are interested in volunteering, please see this following link:  Howl Volunteer Link Chromebook 1:1  As I mentioned in previous posts, CH will be 1:1 with Chromebook devices next year. Students will have three options for Chromebooks: 1. Use personal devices at school.  2. Use school devices at school only (signed out to student but kept in the classroom).  3. Use school devices at school and home (signed out to student and brought to and from school each day, all year).  Each option will require parent signature on device paperwork. 5th Grade Farewell Information

Our 5th graders are preparing for the 5th Grade Farewell. The 2018 Farewell will take place on Friday, June 8th starting at 10:30 a.m. in the MPR. A few things to note: Timing : The event will start at 10:30 and will last approximately one hour (until 11:50). Students will be dismissed at the end of the event as the day is a minimum day.  Event:  The event will start in the MPR and will then transition to the quad. Parents are welcome to come into the MPR starting at 9:50. After the MPR portion of the event, guests will be asked to move to the quad stairs. Guests : We are asking the families limit guests to no more than 2 guests per student . With 120 seated students and limited space in the MPR, we simply won't have enough room for many more people. Please remember, this is a farewell celebration and it is not a promotion/graduation and students will not receive a certificate and names will not be called individually. Dress Code : Some parents have asked about what to wear

NOTIFICATION of SCHEDULED WORK in Cordelia The City of Fairfield is going to be working on many of the surface streets in the wider Cordelia area. Based on the specific notices and visits we've received from the city, we expect the work to be disruptive to traffic flow around the school site over the course of the next several weeks. We will do our best to facilitate traffic flow and to make sure parents have access to the site during those important drop off and pick up times but based on the experience of other schools, it is very likely that some days will be especially difficult with traffic flow. Thanks for your patience! 5th Grade Slideshow : We are preparing a 5th grade slideshow for the end of the year farewell.  The slideshow will include photos of our fifth graders engaged in school activities or local community activities over the last 6 years at Cordelia Hills. Thanks for your support and encouragement! Upcoming Paving in CHE/GVMS areas :The City of Fairfield has alerted us to an upcoming paving project that will impact the areas around CHE and GVMS over the next several months. The informational letter they sent us (and hopefully to you) is here . While we hope that the paving doesn't happen during drop off and pick-up, based on the recent experiences of other schools, I suspect we will have some work during those busy times.  TAP Programs : Cordelia Hills is proud to welcome four new classes to our campus for next school year. Transitional Academic Program, or TAP, is coming to our campus from Nelda Mundy. The program serves students with disabilities across several grade spans. We are so excited to have these students here as Coyotes and look forwa
