CHE Update for 5/30

Hi everyone! We are in the final stretch with just a few days left in school. Just a few very quick updates/announcements: Scouts of America : The Scouts are holding an information night here, tomorrow, May 31st from 6-8 p.m. in the MPR. Please stop by if you have any questions or interest in Scouting! Join the many students already apart of the scouts here in Cordelia! Science and Health Fair is this Thursday, June 1 from 4:30-6:30.  The evening includes a ton of student projects, five outside presenters, and even opportunities to dissect! All are welcome! I hope to see you at the event! CHE Update for 5/22

Just a few days left for the 2016-2017 school year and we have so much left to do! Thank you for your support of our school and your students! It is so easy to mail it in these last few weeks and so we appreciate your work in keeping the passion alive for our students!  A HUGE thank you to the many volunteers, staff members, and especially PTA members who made the Coyote Howl Hop possible. I really enjoyed my first year at the event and was so happy to see so many wonderful families together enjoying the warm evening on our campus. Thank you! A big congratulations to the many students who are wrapping up successful baseball and softball seasons and are now starting summer swimming! I love seeing students excited about activities that extend beyond school!  Lastly, we are wrapping up CAASPP state testing right this moment. CHE Update for 5/15

The Coyote Howl Hop is ALMOST here! We are so excited to see everyone on Friday night starting at 5 p.m. in the MPR for music, DJ, photo booth, cake walk, and TEACHER experience auction. Auction items range from a hiking day with teachers at Rockville park, Disneyland tickets, a 4th grade parents night out party, and many more awesome experiences. Check out the flyer here . Some other announcements and upcoming events and dates: 1. School-wide testing and state testing:  State testing is wrapping up today with just a few 5th grade make-ups left to complete. We transition to District MAP testing for all 1st-5th graders. That assessment will take us through the remainder of May and early June. Thanks for your support and patience. 2. Attendance : As the school year winds down, we have seen an uptick in students missing school. Please remember that every day counts and we really need all students to be at school unless they have a legitimate reason to be out. We really ap

Happy Monday everyone. We are over the moon this week as we celebrate our staff. Thank you to all of the kind parents and students that have already shared gratitude this morning. It is much appreciated! We have a few announcements and reminders (many from the last two weeks) here: 1.  Coyote Howl : The Howl is approaching on Friday, May 19th and .... ... Things to know: The event is from 5-8 p.m. in our MPR on 5/19 and includes music, dancing, food, carnival games, a teacher experience auction, a cake walk, and more!  We need your help. Happy May! Today is Day 153 and we have less than 30 school days left. The sun is definitely out at Cordelia Hills. A few reminders: Please encourage your student to bring/drink plenty of water. Also, please remind your student we still require appropriate attire (shorts, tops, footwear, etc.) even when it it is SUPER WARM. Thanks for making this last few weeks a fantastic end of the year. Some updates and reminders for this week and beyond: 1. CAASPP testing : CAASPP (state) testing continues this week and next week.
