Welcome Back! I am hoping this bright sun will wash away some of the flu and cold that has been going around! Check out the notes below and  HAVE A GREAT WEEK! School is FLYING by this year. We are already at 100 days and more than half way to the end of the year. A few important announcements to keep in mind: 1. Mid-Year MAP Testing has arrived . The Language and Math District benchmarks take place in grades 1-5 over the next two weeks. We are looking for growth in every single student and I believe we are going to see it! Our students and staff have been working extremely hard.  2. Father-Daughter Dance Coming Up : The father daughter dance, sponsored by our PTA, is this Friday evening. Happy Monday everyone! Fun weather this morning!  Some updates and news for the week is below.  Have a great day and week! Shout Out   to the PTA and to all of the volunteers for setting up and running our Book Fair last week. The work of our volunteers can never be thanked enough. The work often goes unnoticed but every event has a little squad of hard working people who make it all work for our kids. Thank you, thank you, thank you! CAASPP Testing : It is nearly here. One more week and third grade will be underway. We are looking forward to seeing the fruits of our labor and we believe every kid is going to do well and surpass the personal goals they've set! I don't want to get ahead of ourselves but I am thinking a bravo! is in order for all of the success we have coming our way. Thanksgiving Food Drive

Cordelia Hills is partnering with Mission Solano on the annual food drive. Mission   Solano  provides Help and Hope for the homeless and hungry all year round and Food Drives are one of the most effective ways we are able to provide for those that cannot provide for their families.   Mission   Solano  is conducting our annual holiday food drive. We are offering a thanksgiving meal to over 600 families in  Solano  County. Please stop by our main office and drop non-perishables in one of the food boxes located right inside the main door!
