5th Grade Farewell Information
Our 5th graders are preparing for the 5th Grade Farewell. The 2018 Farewell will take place on Friday, June 8th starting at 10:30 a.m. in the MPR. A few things to note:
Timing: The event will start at 10:30 and will last approximately one hour (until 11:50). Students will be dismissed at the end of the event as the day is a minimum day.
Event: The event will start in the MPR and will then transition to the quad. Parents are welcome to come into the MPR starting at 9:50. After the MPR portion of the event, guests will be asked to move to the quad stairs.
Guests: We are asking the families limit guests to no more than 2 guests per student. With 120 seated students and limited space in the MPR, we simply won't have enough room for many more people. Please remember, this is a farewell celebration and it is not a promotion/graduation and students will not receive a certificate and names will not be called individually.
Dress Code: Some parents have asked about what to wear to the farewell. While it is not a graduation/promotion, many students were dressed in "nicer" clothes last year for our first year of the event. The only requirement is that students follow school dress code. There is no other expectation.
Slideshow: If you have photos of your student with other students over the course of their time here at CH, please send those to stevetr@fsusd.org and we will try to include them in our slideshow!
